Boning Hall Yield and Trim Management
Based on the way the primal is expected to be cut, within our Plan to Produce software, the relationship between the theoretical and actual yields can be tracked. It demonstrates what was produced, what was planned and what should have been produced.
Our boning hall intake software monitors the boning hall in real-time and checks that the operators are following the plan.
As SI’s software monitors what’s actually being produced, if there’s a deviation from the plan, this can be reviewed with the boning hall in real-time.
All boning rooms have yield applications but can’t always see in detail what trim has been created against what they should have produced.
With SI’s unique software, boning halls can:
- Measure against the boning hall plan
- Identify whenever there’s a problem if too much trim is being generated
- Calculate what trim will be produced according to the specification
- Compare what was planned against the actual amount of trim output
