When Alberta-based Harmony Beef explored the market to find a software solution to manage its entire production process – from abattoir to retail pack – Systems Integration soon became the obvious choice.
President and CEO Rich Vesta explained the problem,
“In the past, we hadn’t been able to find an ‘off the shelf’ system that would work for a beef processing business, so have had to develop various solutions ourselves.”
Chris Vesta, who oversees IT and Operations at Harmony Beef continued,

Harmony Beef is the largest EU approved bovine processing facility in Canada.
“There’s no other plant in North America like it” said Rich Vesta. “We are very excited about the Comprehensive Trade and Economic Agreement (CETA) between Canada and Europe. We are seeing a real pent-up demand for our product in the European market and Integreater® will enable us to demonstrate that it meets all the requirements of this sector.”
