SI joins producers at International Cheese Awards
The Nantwich Show, home to the International Cheese Awards, hosted 5,685 entries last week.
SI was on hand to demonstrate its specialised software designed for the unique challenges of the cheese make and production environments.
2017 entries at International Cheese AwardsA blue Roquefort Papillon made by Bradbury Cheese won the supreme champion prize at this year’s International Cheese Awards. Arla’s Tuxford & Tebbutt Creamery won the reserve supreme champion award. Waitrose was ranked as the best retailer after it won the most gold awards.
Congratulations to all of our customers, who won awards at the show. Trophy winners included:
- Butlers Farmhouse Cheeses – Haughmond Trophy for Farmhouse/Traditional Hard Pressed Territorial Cheese; Barber’s 1833 Trophy for Single Farmhouse Cheddar Block; Cheese Company Trophy for Champion Modern British Cheese
- Cropwell Bishop Creameries – Frances Pawlett Trophy for standard Blue Stilton.
